Christmas markets have become more popular in Japan over recent years, and this December Saitama's Tamaari Town is hosting a fun event from December 15th right up until Christmas Day.
The Tamaari Town Christmas Market is set to include a wide variety of festive items imported from Europe for purchase, plus plenty of eats and drinks to get visitors into the Christmas spirit. Things like mulled wine, hot chocolate, and roast chicken are just some of the menu options to choose from.
Please note that the market operating hours are typically from 12pm until 9pm, but on the first day it will only be running until 4pm, and on the last day it will be running until 8pm.
Getting there
Tamaari Town can be accessed in just a few minutes on foot from JR Saitama- Shintoshin Station, which is served by the Tohoku Main Line. For those who opt to drive, paid on-site parking is available.
