Kisami-Ohama Beach near Shimoda is definitely my favorite beach in the area, and thanks to a direct train from Tokyo it makes it a fantastic weekend getaway. The waters are crystal clear, the sand is white and the beach has a very natural setting—no large road or big hotel spoil the view.
