Japanese graphic designer, illustrator, printmaker, and painter Tadanori Yokoo was born in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo, and the Tadanori Yokoo Museum of Contemporary Art opened in the prefecture in late 2012. A special event is being held to celebrate the museum's 10th anniversary, and it will pack about 30 previous exhibitions into a limited exhibition space.
The somewhat chaotic nature of the exhibition is by design, intended to symbolize Yokoo's seemingly never-ending energy – he still manages to create with passion and energy at the age of 86.
